CAELIGO — CaeliBudget Service

Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before creating an account or otherwise using the CaeliBudget service (the "Service") operated by CAELIGO ("we", "us" or "our").

By checking the "I agree to the terms of service" box and creating an account, you ("User", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted all of the terms below. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

• Service: the CaeliBudget web application, its REST API, all related websites, mobile views, and any associated documentation.
• Account: the personal account created during registration, identified by a unique username and email address.
• Content: any data you create, upload, import or otherwise submit to the Service, including but not limited to transactions, categories, budgets, workspaces, tags, attachments, and personal information.
• Workspace: a logical container in which Content is organised and within which access rights are granted.

2. License Grant

Subject to your continued compliance with this Agreement, CAELIGO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial financial-tracking purposes (or for the internal use of the legal entity you represent, if you have entered into a separate written agreement with us).

3. Account Registration

1. You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering an account.
2. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity carried out under your account.
3. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. You must be at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or the underlying infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law;
• upload viruses, malware or any code intended to disrupt the Service;
• use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes the rights of any third party.

5. Your Content

1. You retain all ownership rights in the Content you submit.
2. You grant CAELIGO a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process and display your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
3. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your Content.
4. Sensitive personal information stored in the Service (including names, email addresses and phone numbers) is encrypted at rest using transparent field encryption.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to such processing. If you are located in the European Economic Area, your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are preserved in full.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages may occur.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including software, design, trademarks and logos, remain the exclusive property of CAELIGO and its licensors. Nothing in this Agreement transfers any such rights to you.

9. Termination

1. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings.
2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach this Agreement, or if required by law.
3. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your Content for as long as required by applicable law and our backup-retention policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAELIGO disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of financial calculations, and non-infringement.

The Service is intended for personal budget tracking and does not constitute financial, tax or investment advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall CAELIGO be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or business opportunities.

12. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable at CAELIGO's registered seat, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
